Itinerary !

Tomorrow night I am leaving Los Angeles around ten post-meridian.
And I will arrive in Philadelphia around ten a… meridian.
Okay, let’s do some math here people.
That is TWELVE HOURS OF TRAVELING.
TO PHILADELPHIA.
It only took four more hours to get to freakin’ China.
& why you may ask ?
Why would a seemingly clever girl such as myself chose such atrocious times to travel ?
BECAUSE I DIDN’T !

Alright, so when we booked my flight and originally I was leaving around nine and getting to Philly around six. Then a couple weeks back I get a very nice email from my friends at Travelocity informing me that I would now be leaving LA at 12:40 in the afternoon and arriving at 11:50 at night. Hey pals, can you stop all your Friday night party explosions and COME PICK ME UP FROM THE AIRPORT ?!
Not cool.

So, I holla at them and say, look, I need to be in Philly wayyy earlier than that.
I cannot miss Shabbat dinner, dude.
I then find out that you cannot switch airlines when finding alternative routes when a flight is canceled.
I say fine, give me my money.
Yeah, too bad ticket prices are now twice as much.
So, my choices were either get there at 11:50 pm or 1:14 am.
OR !
Leave the night before and get in at 10 am.
So, that is why I am going on a twelve hour excursion across America.
LA to ATL to PHL.
Expect mad tweets via whiskey via generic airport sports bars.

I’m very excited for Philadelphia. I’ve heard lots of great things about these cheesesteaks and hogies and Vietnam Palace… so basically, I’m really excited to munch mad garlands of edibles for four days straight and ruin all my gym times I’ve been putting in.

It’s going to be awesome times.
So awesome, the world might explode before we have a chance to film our documentary about taking ‘Nam vets to Disneyworld.

A.Ross x Flufftronix “Christian Bale Throwback” Vid (dreams really do come true).

Yesterday, my pal DJ Flufftronix was like, “I was going to remix that Christian Bale freak out.”
And then I was like, “OMG YOU TOTALLY SHOULD. SRSLY.”
And then, like, six hours later he was like, “Here it is.”
And I was like, “OMG I TOTALLY LOVE IT. SRSLY.”
And he said, “I wish it didn’t require the ‘srsly’…”
No, no, that’s from the Life Aquatic.
And he was like, “That’s awesome. You should make a video for it.”
And I was like, “OMG I TOTALLY SHOULD. SRSLY.”
Because I’ve been, like, waiting for this day since I started following him on Twitter.

Flufftronix’s “Hip Hop” Remix

I recently started following a gentleman DJ by the name of Flufftronix after reading through a blog he wrote, hypothesizing that Gossip Girl influenced Twitter. After an enjoyable reading experience, I obviously had to check out his jams. The Chicago native has spun with some of the industry’s best including Girl Talk, DJ AM and Flosstradamus. I was particularly blown away by his mix of Dead Prez’ “Hip Hop”. Already an amazing track, Flufftronix has turned it from a steady assault on the music industry to a body moving besiege of beats and bulky bass.

Flufftronix also just posted his Love Lockdown remix, which I think is a vast improvement from the original track which I found to be less than Kanye-esque.
