I’m Back!

5 04 2010

Last week ended with me exclaiming the internet wasn’t real & cursing it for leaving me disillusioned & disgusted, broken & betrayed.

Needless to say, I needed a break.
So, I took an impromptu internet vacation.
Spent some time with some homies up in the hills…

Me & bffbro4life Davey.

& I nabbed a bunch of records I’d been meaning to pick up
at Origami Vinyl’s first birthday.

Pisces, Best Coast, Dum Dum Girls, Neon Indian, Real Estate & Cairo Gang for Dudefriend.

Although, currently I am listening nonstop to Twin Sister. I’ve listened to Nectarine about a thousand times this morning as I try to appreciate what may be the last rain for a long time. I find the rain is hard to enjoy whenever I have to leave the house though, which I am going to have to do eventually.

On the East Coast, people freak out when it’s sunny,
& go outside in droves to revel in it.
On the West Coast, people freak out when it’s rainy,
& stay in their pajamz alllllll day.
