Ever have a friend say,
“Oh, yeah, I’m going to this show. It’s free. Free beer. Free food.”
And you’re like,
“HELLZ YAH, SON!”
And then you get there
And then the epic local band ends up being these dudes:

DOZEY DOE.

All of a sudden you feel like you’re on some middle-aged “Mom’s Night Out”, waiting for someone to start a random, off-beat Electric Slide and one frizzy haired, FUPA ridden old maid in the back is requesting Dwight Yokam songs. Some Travis Tritt looking cat is crushing Colt 45s… literally. He is drinking them in full swigs and then crushing them on his head in-between bites of his free pulled pork sandwich. One early thirties couple that thinks they’re out for a cool night on the town at this little neighborhood establishment full of underwhelmed hipsters soaked in whiskey are making jokes about utensils and you’re like BRO I’M NOT DOING EXTRA PERCUSSION ON THE SPOONS WITH YOU, AIGHT?!
